How To Naturally Plump Your Lips?


It’s a dream of almost every woman to have luscious, plump and fuller lips. Surgery is not always the solution to achieving such lips as it can lead to serious complications and also not affordable by many. So if you are looking for some easy ways to naturally plump your lips then go through these tips which you can do on daily basis. You will be surprised to see how plump, fuller and kissable lips will become!

1.    Exfoliate your lips with teeth brush

After you have brushed your teeth, also brush your lips. if you rub your lips using the dry tooth brush will not only help in removing the dead skin cells and give a smooth texture to your lips but it also helps in stimulating the flow of blood and circulation through them. This will give a slight plump to your lips. As a result of this exercise daily, your lips will become fuller, softer and more luscious.

To further enhance the effect of brushing, you can also have some honey or Vaseline applied to your toothbrush which will make them extra smooth and rosy.

2.    Use natural homemade scrub to exfoliate and plump your lips

As already mentioned, with good exfoliation regime, you can slightly plump your lips and give them a fuller and younger appearance. For this you can prepare a homemade natural scrub.
Mix small amount of sugar with water in a bowl and make a thin paste. For better softening and hydrating effects, add few drops of any moisturizing oil to the mixture and apply it on your lips. Gently massage in circular motion. Then clean it subtly followed by an application of your favourite lip gloss. There can be slight irritation caused by the scrub but it will go away quickly leaving naturally plump lips.

3.    Avoid using chemical lip plumpers instead use natural home remedies

Instead of using the chemical lip plumpers which are abundantly available in markets and which can cause harm to your lips, make use of homemade lip plumpers. These can be made using essential oils and natural ingredients found in your home. Though these will not give you long lasting plumping effect but will definitely prove to be good for couple of hours! In the long run it will help in making your lips soft and rosy.
  • Cinnamon essential oil: this is one of the most common ingredients in majority of over-the-counter lip plumping products. It helps in stimulation of blood capillaries and blood flow, giving a plumper and rosier appearance to your lips.You can have the tiny drop of cinnamon essential oil added to your lip balm or lip gloss and keep it in your handbag. So whenever you want to give a plumper and bigger look to your lips, just apply a small amount. It may give slight tingling or burning sensation after application but it will vanish quickly, leaving behind freshly scented and fuller lips.
  • Peppermint essential oil: it’s another natural ingredient that works in almost a similar way as that of cinnamon essential oil. It improves blood circulation by bringing more blood to the surface of lips. Along with plumping it also gives a cool feel to the lips.You can add up 1 or 2 drops of this oil to one Tsp of petroleum jelly and can keep it for regular use.
  • Cayenne pepper essential oil: you can mix 1 to 2 drops of this essential oil to your lip balm or can try making your own amazing lip gloss.For lip gloss, you need to mix 2 Tbsp of coconut oil with 20 drops of sweet almond oil and 1/3 Tbsp of melted cocoa butter. To this mixture add up 2 drops of cayenne pepper essential oil. That is it! You have the brilliant natural homemade lip plumper.

4.    Exercise your lips regularly

By doing some simple and easy lip exercises on regular basis, for at least a month you can make your lips appear bigger and fuller without undergoing any sort of surgery or chemical treatments. Exercising helps in toning the lip muscles which you do not generally use, giving natural plumpness to your lips.
  • Whistling:  Choose your favourite musical tone and whistle it daily for 3 to minutes as stronger and louder as you can do. By doing this regularly you will be able to develop stronger and bigger lips muscles.
  • Smile and kiss exercise: while keeping your lips closed, smile broadly and hold that smile for 5 seconds. Then make a pucker of your lips and push them outward as if you are kissing someone holding it for 5 seconds. Repeat it at least 20 times a day.
  • Moving sideways and rotating: tightly close your lips and stretch those towards right as far as you can then hold in that position for 5 seconds. Repeat the same on the left side. Do these movements at least 15 times.
Close your lips and pucker them out in a kissing position. Then move them in rotating motion 2 times clockwise then repeat the same in the other direction. Do this motion with 10 repetitions each side.
